The 29 year old forward-center for the New York Knicks, Al Harrington, and wife, Michelle, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, Amaya.  There is no word on how the baby or mom is doing.  The original due date of the baby was October 22nd.

Harrington told NBA.com in August, “My wife is pregnant this summer so we haven’t really been able to go anywhere. I’ve just been here in the city working out, but I did go to Vegas for two weeks to train. But I couldn’t wait to come back to be with her. It’s my first kid. A little baby girl.”  During the summer, Harrington also mentioned that his training occurred closer to home so he could be with his wife during this important time in their lives.
