18 Kids and Counting Adds Another Child

Jim Bob and Michelle Dugger, stars of the TLC show 18 Kids and Counting, finally revealed their baby girl Josie, who was born premature on December 10th of last year.  Born after only 25 weeks, Josie was given her milk through a feeding tube, the chances of survival being slim.  Fortunately, Baby Josie and her mother, who was diagnosed with preeclampsia shortly before the birth, are doing fine.  Josie continues to be cared for at the intensive care unit at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

The addition of another child will prompt the show to change its name to 19 Kids and Counting on January 31st when they air a special episode dedicated to the recent birth.  The new series begins in February.

Keyshia Cole Shows a Baby Bump!

Singer and actor Keyshia Cole has announced her engagement to Daniel Gibson of the Cleveland Cavaliers.  Not only is Cole getting married, but has announced that she is expecting in spring.  This will be her and Daniel’s first child.  A wedding date has not been set. Spring time is a wonderful time for delivery. There are a lot of new products out especially baby gear and outdoor play.

Joey Fatone Names Daughter

N'SYNC former singer Joey Fatone and wife Kelly Baldwin delivered a baby Monday, January 11th.  They decided to name her Kloey Alexandra Fatone.
During Bladwin’s pregnancy, doctors found blood clots in her lungs finally diagnosing her with methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase.  This rare genetic condition caused risks for the pregnancy including death for Baldwin and Down’s Syndrome for Kloey.  Kloey was born healthy and both she and her mother are doing fine.

Padma Lakshmi Keeps Naming Tradition Alive

Top Chef Host Padma Lakshmi refuses to reveal the sex of her baby due this spring but gives clues on what his or her name will be.  
Lakshmi will continue a tradition in her family and name the child an Indian name after someone in her family.  She claims that the name will not be fancy but instead reflect a “classically Indian Sanskrit name.”
Lakshmi’s first name in Sanskrit means “lotus flower.”

Many of you know Andrea Roth as her character Janet Gavin on Rescue Me.  Not only does Roth play a mom on television, but will be continuing the role in real life with the recent announcement of her pregnancy.  The child is due in mid-April.  Roth and her fiancé Todd Biermann have not chosen a name yet.

Katy Perry Twitters Hints of Pregnancy

First Katy Perry ‘kisses a girl’ and quickly receives the media’s attention.  Next she becomes engaged to Russell Brand during Christmas in India, announcing their engagement on New Year’s Eve.  Now Katy Perry is stirring up more debate over recent comments she made on Twitter hinting at a current or future pregnancy remarking, "Let me tell you 2010 is BUMPIN!"
