Adam Schlesinger Welcomes Baby Girl

"Stacy's Mom" songwriter, Adam Schlesinger, welcomed daughter Claire on March 5 with his wife, Katie Michel. The couple has been married since 1999 and also have 4-year-old daughter, Sadie. Claire weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces at birth.

Adam is the bassist for the Grammy-nominated band Fountains of Wayne. He also was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for the title track from the Tom Hanks movie That Thing You Do!

Fountains of Wayne will release their latest album, Traffic and Weather, on April 3.
