Charlotte Church Appeals for Organ Donors

Welsh classical singer, Charlotte Church, is pleading for organ donors to come forward to save the life of a 20-month-old baby, Finlay Careless, who needs a liver transplant.

Singer Charlotte, 22, said: “I’m definitely going to help when a baby like this can benefit so much. I can’t imagine what it’s like for a mother to sit and wait for an organ.”

The Mirror is leading a drive to get a million new signatures on the NHS Organ Donor Register by next year. About 3,000 operations are currently done each year.

Depression Hits Church

Friends of singer, Charlotte Church, worry that she is suffering from post-partum depression.

The 21-year-old singer gave birth in September to a daughter, Ruby, and has become a recluse since then.

Her friends say she has only left her house once or twice since the birth and that she's unhappy that she's still carrying the extra weight from pregnancy. (See, that's what happens when come celebs get "extra help" and manage to return to their former sizes within a few weeks…those who can't, get depressed!).

The singer's boyfriend, rugby player Gavin Henson, 25, is reportedly worried about the new mom, who only goes outside to walk Ruby. He fears her reclusiveness will only make her more depressed and might even progress to full-blown agoraphobia (a morbid fear of leaving home).

We wish Charlotte the best of luck for a speedy recovery. Get some therapy, girl. You can afford it.
