Get Well Soon, Little Prince!

We at CB.I wish a speedy recovery to little James Alexander Philip Theo, the Viscount Severn. The five-week-old tyke, son of Prince Edward and Sophie, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, was hospitalized for tests after suffering what is believed to be a minor allergic reaction.

James was born at Frimley Park hospital in Surrey last month weighing 6lb and 2oz. He is the eighth grandchild of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. The couple have a four-year-old daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, who was born by emergency Caesarean.

Viscount Named James

The "small, cute and cuddly" son of Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie Rhys-Jones, has been named James Alexander Philip Theo. The baby's full surname will be Mountbatten-Windsor and his title will be Viscount Severn, the Press Association is reporting.

The week old baby James is the the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh's eighth grandchild. The name Philip is in honor of his grandfather, the Duke. 

As the couple's eldest son, the baby's title is Viscount Severn or Lord Severn. His full surname is Mountbatten-Windsor, but he will use only Windsor.

Royal Baby Goes Home

The "small, cute and cuddly," but still name-free baby boy born Monday to Prince Edward and his wife Sophie returned home with the royal couple today.

The baby boy, Queen Elizabeth the Second's eighth grandchild, weighed 6lb 2oz when he was delivered by Caesarean section.

As they left the hospital, the couple, who are Earl and Countess of Wessex, were greeted with cheers and claps from nurses watching from a window and a small crowd that had gathered.

A palace spokeswoman said that although they were “narrowing it down” there was still no news yet on a name for the baby. They are expected to join the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh and other members of the Royal Family at Sandringham over Christmas.

Britain Welcomes Newest Royal

The newest member of Britain's Royal family made his debut yesterday.

Described by dad, Prince Edward as "small, cute and cuddly," the as-yet-unnamed child of the Queen's youngest son and his wife, 42-year old Sophie, was delivered via C-section and weighed 6 lbs. 2 oz at birth.

Buckingham Palace said they were "absolutely thrilled" at the birth. The baby is the eighth grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Philip.

The 43-year-old Edward told reporters at Frimley Park Hospital outside London that he and his wife, the Countess of Wessex, had not yet decided on a name. The baby is expected to have the title Viscount Severn.

The couple have a 4-year-old daughter, Lady Louise.
