Jennifer Hudson Was Pregnant!

Jennifer Hudson has refused to confirm or deny her pregnancy for the past nine months, allowing her bump to tell the news. However, now her baby boy has arrived! Jennifer welcomed David Daniel Otunga Jr. on Monday, August 10th. The newborn is the first child for the actress/singer and her fiancé David Otunga.

“The baby is beautiful and perfect,” Jennier’s rep tells People. “His parents are ecstatic.”

Though quiet on the news, Jennifer did not hide her pregnancy. Last month, she performed “Will You Be There” in Los Angeles at the public memorial for Michael Jackson.

Secret Baby Shower Fun!

A lot of events are happening for Jennifer Kate Hudson, but she is keeping everything quiet! Jennifer is a singer, actress, and soon-to-be wife and mother. According to the Chicago Tribune, Jennifer held her baby shower in Chicago this weekend. The baby shower was a quiet event with friends and family. Jennifer’s friend Felicia Fields mentioned that the gifts were mostly yellow, as Jennifer and fiancé David Otunga do not know the gender. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Jennifer is seven months pregnant.

Jennifer Hudson was a 2004 finalist on American Idol, winner of an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in the 2006 movie Dreamgirls, and has been described as a friend of President Obama. Her fiancé is David Otunga, a Harvard educated lawyer who became a wrestler. The couple has not released the date of their upcoming wedding yet.

Hudson Says Final Goodbyes

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson said her last goodbyes to her slain family members at a private service on Monday. Jennifer, 27, spent some time at her brother and her nephew’s caskets before kneeling down and kissing her mom for the last time.

American Idol winner, Fantasia Barrino, Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, Oprah Winfrey, Queen Latifah, and music producer Clive Davis all attended the services in Chicago. The Hudson family members will be buried at Oak Woods Cemetery on the South Side of Chicago according to People.
