I guess it was inevitable, what with the hullabaloo about her "weight gain" and her recent engagement, that speculation would soon surface that Jennifer Love Hewitt was expecting. But the 'Ghost Whisperer' star is shooting down the claims, insisting that there is no bun in her oven.
The 28 year old star recently got engaged to Ross McCall in Hawaii, but the event was overshadowed by a media firestorm over her "plus size." Hewitt came out forcefully in defense of her own body, as well as the bodies of impressionable adolescent girls who are bludgeoned daily by the media's unrealistic beauty standards.
"What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures of me from bad angles," Hewitt wrote on her web site. "I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. And like all women out there should, I love my body."
The actress' representative has quashed the pregnancy rumor, telling Pagesix.com and OK! Magazine that it's "Not true. These stories are 100% false."
