Jon Heder Speaks About Being A New Daddy

Jon Heder, Napoleon Dynamite star, and his wife Kirsten welcomed Evan Jane into the world last month.

Jon, 29, was interviewed by People at the Surf's Up premiere on Saturday. The first question they asked was if fatherhood brought any surprises. He replied, "I think I was basically prepared for everything."

"I didn't realize changing diapers was going to be as fun. That was actually the thing I was most apprehensive about, but now it's like, 'Let's change a diaper! I hope she's made a doodoo, so I can just change it.' " Only Jon would like to change dirty diapers! But apparently, Evan Jane enjoys her diaper changes as much as Dad: "She's always awake and happy and playful when she gets a diaper change," Heder said.

Jon Heder Has Baby Girl

It's a baby girl for Jon Heder, Napoleon Dynamite star, and his wife Kirsten. Her name is Evan Jane Heder but the exact date of birth has not been revealed.

According to People, a rep said that Evan is "safe and sound and healthy." The couple announced in September that they were expecting a child.

Any Day Now For Napoleon Dynamite

Jon Heder, aka Napoleon Dynamite star, is expecting a baby any day now states People. He and his wife, Kristen, both attended the premiere of his new movie Blades of Glory but had a doctor on call just in case.

Heder, 29, and his wife, Kristin, met  when they were both students at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Now they are expecting thier first child.  Will Ferrel, co-star of the new movie, tells People, "I think Jon will make a great father. He's a good listener, and he likes children, that's important. You should like children to be a father."
