John Travolta’s Son Dies at 16

While in the Bahamas on a nice family vacation, Jett Travolta died at the age of just 16-years-old. John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston remain in shock. Travolta's lawyer, Michael Ossi, made statements for the family. He said that Jett suffered a seizure at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island on Friday. He hit his head on the bathtub and was pronounced dead at Rand Memorial Hospital. His nanny tried everything to keep Jett alive even giving him mouth-to-mouth.

Ossi tells People, "He (Travolta) never dreamed of this – their relationship was so close. He always said 'I'm happy as long as my kids are happy.' He is heartbroken … To bury your son is the worst thing you can ever do."

John Travolta Wants A Bigger Family

John Travolta, 53, and his wife Kelly Preston, 44, are thinking about adding another child to their family. Her schedule this summer will determine the outcome. John is leaving it up to her.

The couple has two children, Jett, 14, and Ella Bleu, 7. "I really like having kids. I enjoy their energy and it keeps everything wonderful and hopeful," says Travolta to People, "I grew up with six kids in my family. I thought I would have five or six." On watching his children grow up, he said, "It's fascinating always, because they're yours and they're beautiful and they're constantly changing and offering you new thoughts and ideas, so I love watching them grow up…They're your future, really."

Travolta has a new movie coming out this summer called Hairspray. Hopefully he will have more to promote then just his movie soon!
