Newborn twins Maximilian David and Emme Maribel Muniz, the son and daughter of singers, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, are already being spoiled rotten, and not just by their celebrity parents.

Not only did their birth on February 22 cost $1.4 million dollars, but since then, the twins have been gifted with a chandelier in their bedroom, piles of cashmere baby clothes and matching "rocking ducks," by Hollywood A-list well-wishers. Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria bought the twins matching old-fashioned prams worth $1,500 each. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes splashed out on outfits from French 'baby couture' company Bonpoint. And JLo's favorite designers, Dolce & Gabbana presented the twins with custom-made baby wraps made from fur!  *Just say no, JLo!*

Jennifer tells OK! magazine: "Emme is a total girl. You take off her clothes and she covers up, and her hands are very feminine. And she has more hair than him. And he is like a tank, with these little arms."

She says Max's middle name, David, comes from her father, while Emme's comes from her husband's late sister. The babies will both be known by Marc Anthony's surname, Muniz.

And the star seems to have gotten over herself a bit, claiming that she's not at all bothered by her post-baby figure. "I gained a good amount of weight, which I was focused on, because twins can sometimes have a low birth weight. I gained 45-50lbs, a lot for my frame, but for twins it's right on. It's amazing how your stomach goes boop and it's this jiggly mass. I even play with my little leftover belly." The singer says she intends to participate in a triathlon in the Fall.

"Having children is the biggest thing that can happen to a woman," gushes the new mom. "You win an Oscar, get nominated for a Golden Globe - you know, whatever things you think are big, I can't even think of anything that can match the miracle of giving birth and having your own child."

"I've been very career-orientated my whole life and very focused on my own world and my own life, and all of a sudden the focus just shifts."

And the Latina singer is preparing to shed the baby weight and get back into fighting form right away. She's reportedly flown her personal trainer, Gunnar Peterson, from LA to New York to whip her back in to shape.

A source close to Peterson tells the National Enquirer:"She wants to lost the baby weight fast. She wants to trim at least 20 to 25 pounds right away. She put on almost 40 pounds when she was pregnant with the twins.

The trainer-to-the-stars is reportedly putting Lopez through an hour and a half of high-cardio workouts each day.

It's being claimed that JLo's newborn twins, Max and Emme, were named after Max and Emmy, the animated stars of the PBS show, Dragon Tales.  Shrewd move, designed to cultivate big egos and a thirst for stardom, or mere coincidence?

Meanwhile, the 39-year-old singer has reportedly hired a baby masseuse who'll have weekly sessions with Max and Emme, according to MomLogic. She's also said to have consulted a color specialist before painting the nursery in shades of blue. Max and Emme also sleep on 600-count Egyptian linens and listen to classical music!

Here's the breakdown, as reported by In Touch magazine: $700,000 to reserve her luxurious 'birthing suite' at the North Shore Hospital in Long Island, for three weeks before she actually delivered; $300,000 on private doctors and nurses, $300,000 on security and $100,000 on personal assistants!

The birthing suite included white couches, a large Apple computer, a private kitchen and two flat-screen TVs.

Insiders say that Lopez has been overheard calling the new additions Maximiano and Emelina, according to the magazine. So we're guessing "Max" and "Emme" are the abbreviated versions.

Jennifer Lopez' ex, Sean Combs, plans to send the singer's newborn twins a stylish gift–a wardrobe from his clothing line, Sean John.

The 38 year actor, designer and music mogul told PEOPLE magazine: I'm so happy for her. It's such a blessing."  He added that Lopez "is going to make a great mother."

Combs is himself the father of 14-month-old twins, D'Lila Star and Jesse. He had this advice for the new mom: "It's double the love, and it's also double the crying and the screaming, so it's a unique blessed situation. It's a rarity to have twins. She'll be all right."

Meanwhile, Lopez took her four-day-old bundles of joy home from the hospital today. According to her close friend, producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, JLo is "very happy and blissful."

"She said, 'I can't take my eyes off of them.' " Goldsmith-Thomas says.

"She and Marc are so ready for a family. They love each other so much and built this beautiful life together. It feels like the only thing missing were these children and now they have them."

Her belly was almost as big as the moon, but she's "over" it now. JLo has finally popped out those highly anticipated twins–a boy and a girl.

The $6 million-dollar duo arrived in the wee hours of Friday morning (Feb. 22) in Long Island. PEOPLE magazine reports that the girl was delivered at 12:12 am and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz. The boy arrived 11 minutes later, weighing in at 6 lbs.

"Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon," says Lopez's manager, Simon Fields. (Is 'over the moon' now the official delivery mantra?). The twins are Jennifer's first kids. Marc already has two sons and a daughter.

FemaleFirst reports that Jennifer Lopez has (finally) checked into the North Shore University Hospital in Long Island. The 38-year-old star will deliver the babies in a private suite that's been off-limits to staff and patients for the past two weeks. The suite is fully furnished with privacy screens, a brown leather couch, wooden floors and two giant plasma TVs.

The delivery-room diva will reportedly wear a designer hospital gown during her stay. 

Staff at the hospital have been on "Code Pink" alert in case someone tries to snatch the twins.

We told you, proud grandparents have loose lips! Thanks to Jennifer Lopez' dad, we can all retire the parenthetical references to her twin bundles of joy. The duo is scheduled to debut via C-section on Valentine's Day.

"Yes, twins," said the Latina singer's dad David Lopez in an interview on the Spanish-language show Escándalo TV. PEOPLE en Espanol reports. "The thing is in my family, my sister also had twins, so it's a hereditary thing."

Grandpa-to-be is thrilled for his daughter, who he says "has yearned to be a mother for many years." he said. 

David already has gifts picked out for the twins. "In Puerto Rico it's custom to buy an azabache [black stone] bracelet for babies to protect them from the evil eye, it's part of our culture," he said.

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly wading through applications for the title of godparent to her unborn twins.

Swamped with requests from celebrities, the 38-year-old singer has decided to "audition" the applicants to test their suitability for the role. JLo's close friend, actress Leah Remini, says she and husband, Angelo Pagan, "asked for an audition for godparent roles, so at the moment we are waiting to hear back." "We need about a day to prepare though," she adds. 

Other contenders include Spice Girls singer, Victoria Beckham and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, producer of JLo's 2002 film 'Maid in Manhattan'. Goldsmith-Thomas recently hosted a luxurious baby shower for Lopez at New York's Gramercy Park Hotel.

Unlike a lot of the knocked-up celebs, JLo has picked out names for her babies: Max and Emme.

Star magazine is reporting that the Latina singer's mom, Guadalupe, was spotted picking up two gold-rope ID bracelets engraved with those names from Genesis Jewelers in Yorktown Heights, N.Y.  The proud grandma-to-be was overheard telling the clerk the names.

With only weeks to go before her date with the stork, singer Jennifer Lopez held her baby shower Saturday in New York City and it was as glitzy as expected.

JLo and hubby Marc Anthony were joined by designer Roberto Cavalli and actress Leah Remini at the Gramercy Park Hotel. The room was also scattered with Swarovski crystals.

Among the gifts were a pink leopard crib by Cavalli.

Further fuelling the fraternal twin rumors, the decor was done in both pink and blue.
