Forty-year-old actress, Marcia Cross, was in such a desperate race against her biological clock that she skipped her honeymoon in favor of fertility treatments.

Now the mother of twins, Cross feels free to crush the spirits of other women her age. "It's very, very difficult to get pregnant in your 40s," she says. "It's costly and tough on your body and your relationship."

She gets even more depressing: "Getting pregnant at an older age makes things so non-romantic. There’s no story to tell your kids about how they were conceived. It’s gonna be, “well mommy and daddy loved each other so mommy went to the doctor to get a lot of shots.”

C'mon, Marcia. Have a little empathy.

She's not desperate but she is definitely a great housewife and mother! Marcia Cross has been seen around town many times the last couple months with her husband Tom Mahoney and their twin girls. The twins, Eden and Savannah, are about 6 months old now.

Mother and daughters are having fun on Labor Day at a local park.

Marcia Cross and her husband Tom Mahoney took advantage of a sunny day by taking their 5-month-old twin daughters to the park. Eden and Savannah look like they are having a blast and mom and dad look just as happy.

Svan Bouncers, a product of Scandinavian Child and Svan of Sweden, were announced on the Ellen DeGenres Show as part of the Mother's Day "Biggest Baby Shower" special.

Marcia Cross from Desperate Housewives, who just had twins, was on the show and admitted that she owns Svan products including the bouncer. She absolutely loves its stylish and innovative features.  Ellen and Marcia proceeded to then talk about all of the bouncer's fantastic functions.  All the while, the Svan logo was proudly displayed on-stage along with a number of bouncers.  

Every audience member (all of which happened to be pregnant with their first child) received a lilac Svan Bouncer. 

Marcia Cross was out shopping in the Big Apple on Thursday just before going to the The Late Show With David Letterman. She's looking good for having twins just 10 weeks ago. She raved about her daughters, Eden and Savannah, while she was on the show.

Marcia Cross, 44, finally became a mom when she gave birth to her twin girls on Tuesday! Marcia's rep, Heidi Slan, confirmed the joyfull news to People.

Eden and Savannah were born at a Los Angeles hospital and are the first children for the Desperate Housewives actress and her stockbroker husband Tom Mahoney, 49. The couple have been married since June 2006.

"Mother and babies are all doing well," says Cross's rep, Heidi Slan.

While out dining with a friend for lunch, Desperate Housewives co-star, Marcia Cross, got hit hard with a dose of parenting reality. According to the National Enquirer, a source revealed that Cross, pregnant with twins, became annoyed when two small kids began running around and making a racket. "Those kids are so noisy. Why can't they stay in their seats?", Marcia snapped at her friend. Her friend simply replied by rolling her eyes saying, "Better get used to it…that's what you're facing in a couple of years."

Marcia Cross has just been placed on bed rest, according to her publicist Heidi Slan in an email to The Associated Press. "This is a precautionary measure only," she said. Marica and her husband Tom Mahoney are expecting twins this April. No further details are know at this time.

Desperate Housewives star, Marica Cross,44 has confirmed she's pregnant with twins! Marcia and stockbroker Tom Mahoney were married this past June and are now expecting in April.
