Melissa Joan Hart and her husband Mark Wilkerson have been seen around with their boys Mason Walter and Braydon ‘Brady’ Hart! The parents and their toddlers were at the premiere of the computer-animated 3-D film Up! in Los Angeles.

However, this family will also be seen more this month with the grand opening of Sweet Harts, a frozen yogurt shop Melissa and her mom are opening in Sherman Oaks, California. After playing the role of children on television as Sabrina The Teenage Witch and Clarissa Explains It All, Melissa became a mom in 2006 with her first son Mason. Now she wants to achieve a lifelong dream of a “sugary wonderland,” a dream many children have. Thus the opening of Sweet Harts- the grand opening is Saturday, May 30th from 2-5 p.m.!

The life of a celebrity can be quite hectic, always having to travel to shoot at various locations. While this kind of life can be fun, it can be a lot of work for a celebrity mother. That’s why actress Melissa Joan Hart and husband Mark Wilkerson figure out a way to make this type of life work for them and their sons, Mason Walter, 3, and Braydon “Brady” Hart, 13 months. Luckily for them, they have “got a good system down,” Melissa shares. “Being on location means there’s only two focuses: whatever job I’m working on, and my family.”

The couple also has a wonderful nanny who travels with them and helps assist Melissa while she is working. Melissa says, “We hired her last year when we had Braydon. She went with us to Louisiana and Atlanta and everywhere we went last year. It’s nice because she or Mark or whoever is there that day will bring the boys to see me at lunch.”

Another thing that Melissa loves about acting is that it is not always a 9 to 5 shift, saying, “you’re not always on – it’s not a 9:00 to 5:00. Sometimes it’s a 6:00 to 6:00…in which case I get to go home in time for dinner or bath time, or maybe I have a late call and I don’t go in until noon and I get to have breakfast with my family.”

Thanks to that type of scheduling in Atlanta, Georgia, Melissa and her family have discovered a new favorite. “We went to the aquarium a lot. It was really fun because the aquarium in Atlanta was unbelievable, and my son became obsessed with whale sharks … and anything in the aquarium. I got to go diving with the whale sharks and my son got to watch me in the tank in my scuba gear as I went, so it was really cool.”

The March of Dimes “Celebration of Babies” event was held on September 27th, 2008 at the famous Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA was a fabulous event! The charity luncheon recognized some of the most prominent individuals who are celebrating the birth of their children and who are role models for the March of Dimes.

Mamarazzi caught up with various celebrity moms and dads in attendance who were not only excited to celebrate the mission of the March of Dimes, which works on improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality, but to talk about their role as parents.

This 3rd annual Celebration of Babies luncheon included a luxury boutique, silent and live auction, and an awards ceremony honoring Dr. Lisa Masterson of the television series “The Doctors” and Dr. Peter S. Waldstein, one of Hollywood’s most sought-after pediatricians. George Pennacchio, longtime entertainment reporter for ABC7 Eyewitness News, known throughout California, served as Master of Ceremonies.

Let’s start with the host of this year’s event, actress Jennie Garth. The picture you see is of Jennie and her good friend Patrice at the event.

Jennie Garth skyrocketed to stardom with her role as Kelly Taylor on Beverly Hills, 90210 and has reprised her role as Kelly in the new 90210 series which deputed this September. She has starred in various television roles and made-for-television movies, and most recently was a crowd and fan favorite as she competed on ABC’s hit show Dancing with the Stars. Jennie and husband, actor Peter Facinelli have three daughters.

Interview Highlights – Jennie Garth

Question: “What is the best advice you can give to new moms?”
Jennie’s response: “Sleep when the baby is sleeping! Otherwise you get too exhausted and you are no good to anyone.”

Question: “How are you doing with everything – having three beautiful girls, juggling full-time motherhood and full-time career – what do you do to take a break and relax when you get overwhelmed, (which by-the-way we all get overwhelmed)?”
Jennie’s response: “When I’m overwhelmed, I really don’t think about the “taking a break” part, that’s the problem. I used to bake, but that’s too much work now. What I like to do when the kids are all asleep is watch T.V. for about 30 minutes or I read a book, I’m really into reading novels right now. Just to have some quiet me time, because at the end of the day, my head is just buzzing with the chaos and noise and activity all the time – there never seems to be enough quiet, and everybody just needs some “quiet time”.

Question: “And what about your advice for Dads”?
Jennie’s response: “Who? No, just kidding. I tell my husband ‘Go out - get away’. Sometimes I have to remind my husband just walk away because it’s a lot to handle, and if I see my husband getting frustrated I tell him to go watch T.V. or play pool or cards.”

Melissa Joan Hart is an actress and director, best known for her role as Sabrina, in Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. She has had a career in show business since she was just three years old. She is married to musician, Mark Wilkerson. They have two sons, Mason, 2 1/2 and Braydon, 6 months old.

Question: “Tell us a little bit about your involvement with the March of Dimes.”
Melissa’s response: “Well this specific event, Celebration of Babies - I was honored two years ago as a Stork Club Member, which honors celebrities that had healthy babies that year and I recently had Mason. My friend, Kellie Martin’s (actress known for her roles on Life Goes On, and ER) mom was running the event and I started to get involved and have been on the committee ever since. We meet at least once a month, and talk about babies, and baby’s health and the mission of the March of Dimes. We hear stories of our friends and other moms and you realize how many of your friends have actually benefited from the March of Dimes, when they were in the hospital and gave birth to preemies and its amazing and they (March of Dimes) really makes a difference, and you really see that. Especially at events like this.”

Question: “As a busy mom, and active actress, how do you do juggle it all?”
Melissa’s response: “Well luckily, now that I have two kids, I have a wonderful nanny. I have to give her major credit. She is like my wife. She reminds me to drink my water, and keep healthy. But you know it really takes a village. My husband is such a hands-on daddy, he is there for every naptime, he is the one who wakes up early every morning so I can sleep in, he feeds them breakfast, he is there for every bath and almost every meal. Our nanny really helps us out especially when we have to go on location to shoot, she has become part of our family. And my mom and my sisters and my best friends, Kimmy and Kellie – they are always around with their kids and we can get together and let the kids run around in the backyard – all is good!”

Melissa Joan Hart and her family visited Disneyland resort on Friday for her 32nd birthday. Her husband Mark Wilkerson, and sons Braydon, 5 weeks, and Mason, 2, joined her for a fun-filled day. Even the baby gets to wear Mickey Mouse ears! Happy Birthday Melissa and good luck with the new baby!

Melissa Joan Hart and husband Mark Wilkerson welcomed their second child, a son, yesterday in Los Angeles.

Braydon Hart Wilkerson was born at 3 p.m. and weighed 7 lbs., 3 oz., rep Brad Taylor says.

Hart, 31, says she is happy about giving her 2-year-old son Mason a sibling. She herself is the eldest of eight children. "This has been a long but exciting pregnancy, and we, along with Mason, are excited to add to the Wilkerson clan," she says.

Her husband piped: "Melissa and I are the proudest parents ever and this is the best thing that has happened to us this year!"

Many pregnant celebrities and celebrity moms and dads showed up at the annual babyLOVE event for the March of Dimes. The parents and parents-to-be showed up to support keeping babies healthy.

Over 300 guests and supporters attended this year, including pregnant Melissa Joan Hart, Kellie Martin and 7-month-old daughter Maggie, Fred Savage and son Oliver, and many more celebrities.

Proceeds from babyLOVE benefit the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

People Magazine has an exclusive interview with Kellie Martin, 31, and her husband Keith Christian with their daughter Margaret (Maggie) Heather Christian; born November 4th 2006. "I didn't think I could love anything so much. Babies give you so much unconditional love and you can't help but give it back because it's so pure. She has also taught me how to change a diaper - I've become pretty awesome at that!", said the new celebrity mom.

Being a new mom can be overwhelming at times. How does Kellie deal with the everyday stresses of motherhood? She get's advice from her good friend (and mom) Melissa Joan Hart. "The other day, Maggie didn't want to eat, and it freaked me out. I was crying, and I called Melissa. She said, 'Don't worry, Maggie will eat when she's hungry.' It's a simple answer that just never occured to me."

Since the birth of Maggie, Kellie's life has changed and she said, "I don't plan my day anymore. I now have about 12 voicemails I just haven't dealt with. When Maggie is awake and playing, I just want to give her my full attention."

Melissa is married to Mark Wilkerson, lead singer and guitarst of the rock band Course of Nature. The couple have been married since July 2003 and where wed in Italy.
