Mike Piazza & Wife Welcome a Baby Girl

Oakland A's catcher Mike Piazza and his wife, Alicia, welcomed their first child together on Saturday. Nicoletta Veronica Piazza was born in a NYC hospital at 4:07am. She weighed 5 lbs., 8 oz. and measured 19 inches long.

Piazza's rep, Josh Goldberg, said "Both baby and mother are doing fine." Mike, 38, and Alicia, 34, have been married since January 2005. Congratulations!
