How do the Victoria’s Secret models keep a slim and stunning body after having a child or even two? Alessandra Ambrósio, 30, and fiancé Jamie Mazur gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Anja Louise Ambrosio Mazur, in August of 2008. Ambrósio’s rep. told PEOPLE just yesterday, December 27th that the couple is expecting baby number two! What a great way to start the New Year as a mommy-to-be!
In fact, many of the Victoria’s Secret models have added a new addition to their families over the past couple of years. On November 15, 2009, Adrianna Lima and husband Marko Jarić welcomed Valentina Lima Jarić to their family. Miranda Kerr and heartthrob Orlando Bloom also became first-time parents to son Flyyn Christopher Blanchard Copeland Bloom on January 6th, 2011.
It was just last month that the Victoria’s Secret models flaunted their fit bodies that on seers could only dream of having. Ambrósio looked great with no sign of pregnancy but when asked if she and Mazur had plans of expanding their family, Ambrósio replied, “Definitely.”
The Kardashian family has consumed fans and reality television connoisseurs across the nation. Not only are people keeping up with the Kardashians personal lives, they are keeping up with fashion trends and chitchat that swarms these three sisters. From pregnancy rumors, to marriage, and every day family feuds that seem never ending, the Kardashians have managed to make themselves the topic of discussion in households of both young and old.
Of the three sisters, Kourtney Kardashian seems to never catch a break from both the media and her mother whose old fashioned ways seem to clash with her own thoughts and beliefs. Kris Jenner, mother of the Kardashian clan understands her daughters love for grandson Mason, born December 14th, 2010, but does not agree with Kourtneys desire for a second child before marriage.
According to Celebrity Gossip, Kourtney had a decent reason for wanting a second child, she told the press, “Kim and I are 18 months apart. Growing up, we did everything together. It would be nice for Mason to have a little brother or sister that many months apart too.”
Check back with Celebrity Babies Blog to get the real scoop on the latest celebrity baby news. Who knows, maybe Kourtney will be the next celeb to announce her pregnancy!
Laila Ali is pregnant again. She is about 3 months along and hoping for a girl this time around. The former Dancing with the Stars contestant is due in April, 2011. Laila Ali, 32, and husband Curtis Conway, 39, are having their second child together. Curtis Conway, now 2, is their first little boy.
As a former world class athlete, staying healthy and fit throughout her pregnancy is still a priority. She says, “Pregnancy isn’t ‘I can eat whatever I want,’ because you have to remember you’re going to be stuck with a lot of that weight afterwards that you need to try to get off.” However, she still admits to having the normal pregnancy cravings and she sometimes gives in. After all, who doesn’t deserve a little extra dessert when they are baring a child for 9 months?
Neal McDonough and wife Ruvé welcomed their fourth child this past Monday, August 15th. Clover Elizabeth was born in Los Angeles, and the 45 year old McDonough states, “Ruvé gave birth to a beauty! 8½ lbs. and 21 inches with thick dark hair like her gorgeous Mommy…Ruvé is recovering well — we are so blessed.”
The actor also explains the reasoning behind the name they chose for the little girl. Son Morgan Patrick, now 5 ½, suggested the newborn’s name, which was inspired by a “lucky” four-leaf clover. McDonough further explains, “It has four leaves and this is our fourth child. Clover signifies good luck — I’m Irish and Ruvé’s favorite color is green.”
Clover Elizabeth was also no exception for a special birth place. She was born at the Good Samaritan Hospital where all of their children were born. McDonough also serves as a celebrity chairperson for the hospital.
Look who became a teen over the holiday weekend! Barack Obama might have a little more to worry about now that his eldest daughter is in her teens. Malia Obama, 13, celebrated her birthday yesterday on the Fourth of July. How fitting for the daughter of the President of the United States. On January 20th, 2009 Barack Obama assumed office following George W. Bush. In his two years as president, Obama has wowed the American Public with his ability to balance family and professional matters. When asked how he felt about Malia becoming a teenager, Barack told Good Morning America, “Malia and Sasha, for whatever reason, and I think Michelle gets the lion’s share of the credit, they’re smart, they’re funny, but most importantly, they’re kind, they’re respectful, they’re responsible, they’re well-behaved. I could not ask for better kids.”
It will be interesting to see the outcome of Barack Obama’s reelection. If he remains president for a second term this will not be the last birthday that Malia will celebrate as the daughter of the President of the United States. Happy belated Birthday and Fourth of July Malia Obama!
