Wayne Gretzky is recognizably one of the greatest hockey players to ever participate in the National Hockey League. One of his greatest overall achievements in life was meeting and marrying the love of his life, Janet Jones. The couple has five children together: Paulina Mary Jean, Ty Robert, Trevor Douglas, Tristan Wayne, and Emma Marie. Along with being a father, a devoted husband and a renowned hockey player, Gretzky is also a business man. His current business ventures include the “Wayne Gretzky’s” restaurant in Toronto, opened in partnership with John Bitove in 1993. Gretzky is also a partner in First Team Sports, a maker of sports equipment and Worldwide Roller Hockey, Inc., an operator of roller hockey rinks.
Robert Gordon “Bobby” Orr is still the talk of the town in Boston, Massachusetts. The Boston Bruins icon was not only a success on the rink, but in his personal life as well. While vacationing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Orr met Peggy Wood, a Detroit native prominent in speech therapy. On Christmas Day in 1972, Orr asked for her hand in marriage. The two have since raised a beautiful, growing family. They have two sons, Darren and Brent. In 2009, Bobby Orr became a first time grandfather of granddaughter Alexis. Shortly after in January of 2011, Orr welcomes a second grandchild, Robert.
